Retrofit older street lights with mercury vapour lamps, such as HPL, HQL, HRL or HSL:
Remove the old lamp centre and then screw this retrofit lamp into the street lighting.
The old ballast (choke) can remain in the luminaire.
The new LED lamp can be operated with or without ballast.
Important: If there is an igniter / starter in the old lamp, it must be removed beforehand.
This bright LED lamp consists of an effective aluminium heat sink, which keeps the operating temperature particularly low.
This prolongs the life of the lamp considerably.
The reflector in the old lamp is not used, only the directly emitted light of the LEDs.
This results in less light loss and higher luminous efficacy on the road.
After screwing in the economical LED lamp, it can still be adjusted so that it radiates evenly in the desired direction.
Energy saving, considerably longer durability and savings in maintenance costs.
