To extend the lighting duration in bad weather, a power reduction can be set over several sections during the night. 

You have the option of selecting 5 consecutive time blocks from dusk with a duration of 1-15 hours each and varying light intensity from 0-100%.

Example 1: 4 hours at 100% from dusk, then 2 hours at 50%, then 3 hours off (0%) and 4 hours at 100% early in the morning

Example 2: 4 hours 100%, 5 hours midnight 0%, 4 hours 100%

Example 3: 4 hours at 100%, then 10 hours (rest of the night) at 50%

Please specify the desired lighting times and night reduction when ordering. Our technical team will pre-program all lighting times for your project free of charge.
We will be happy to help you decide on the correct default settings.
To change the settings on site, you will need the S-SOLS29-5 programming device.

The charge controller is also equipped with a Smart Power function that enables automatic dimming depending on the battery charge level. If the battery voltage falls below 50%, the lamp is automatically dimmed to 50%; this process is descending until the deep discharge protection kicks in. This setting enables safe operation even on low-light days in winter.

The integrated emergency lighting function ensures lighting even when the battery charge is low during very long periods of bad weather, but with reduced light intensity.
The batteries are located in the pole, behind the lockable door.

For easier erection, we also offer installation sleeves into which the pole can be inserted.
